«GREEK, INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE»

The new issue January – March 2012 of our magazine came out. The magazine includes articles about the support for the teaching of Greek Language to both Greek origin and foreign people all over the world and it is the result of the tireless efforts of the members and friends of the Organization.

In its pages one may read «good news» about the efforts for the promotion of the teaching of Greek Language (in all its forms) all over the world.

In this issue, you may read about the Education in Northern Epirus of Albania, the Teaching Curricula of Griko Language, 100 years since Nikiforos Brettakos’ birth, the Conference about the Universality of Greek Language, the Spetseropouleio Foundation in Cairo. There are also other articles related to the teaching of Greek Language abroad.

Also, there is a very interesting article by Professors Klymenko and Savenko about the Greek Studies in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Ukraine and the long history of relations between Ukraine and Greece. Furthermore they speak about the efforts of Professors A. Biletsky and T. Tsernysova for the survival of the Greek Studies Chair.

The magazine is sent for free to thousands of subscribers in 76 countries (universities and schools where Greek Language is being taught, expatriate associations, etc.) and is also sent to our members and many subscribers.
